The moment Peter Kay throws out hecklers
Drama at Manchester's AO Arena
This video – shot by a member of Peter Kay's audience at Manchester’s AO Arena – has been removed at the request of the comedian's lawyers, who complained that it breached his privacy, personal data and copyright.
In the footage, originally posted to the Daily Mail website and YouTube and embedded here, a man from the audience is heard shouting ‘garlic bread’, which Kay then repeats back sarcastically, adding: ‘Kick him in the fucking face, will you?
‘Next time someone says "penny for your thoughts", sell. We get it, we get it.’
While a number of expletives are bleeped, he then tells a security guard he calls Keith to ‘go get him... drag him out by his pubes.’
When a team descend on the heckler, later revealed to be 54-year-old Philip Peters, Kay says: ‘Yes! Yes! This is what you want. Oh, there's loads of them' [meaning security]
As they try to remove him a woman nearby yells: ‘We love you Peter’ to which he says: ‘You take her out and all while you’re there.
The comic asked those around her: ‘Is she a nightmare?’ then tells Keith to ‘get her ‘ as well as ‘they're all complaining about her now.’
As she’s led away, he says:’ Off you go, Lisa Riley’, in reference to the Coronation Street actress. ‘Out you pop.’
Kay then says ‘garlic bread’ a few more times, reprising a bit of the routine the initial hecker was shouting about.
