Go Home Jordan Brookes

Surreal semi-autobiographical sitcom pilot

Jordan Brooks has made a pilot of a surreal loosely autobiographical sitcom mixing animation, puppetry and deepfake technology into the live-action elements

Go Home Jordan Brookes is based on him returning to his parents' house in the country after he suffered a mental breakdown living in London.

Impressionist Jan Ravens stars as his mother and Sunil Patel as the voice of his childhood teddy bear. Lorna Rose Treen and Eddy Hare also lend their voices to the seven-minute pilot..

Former Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Brooks urged broadcasters: 'Please commission this. The industry's in rude health at the moment, just ask anyone. The perfect time to commission a genre-bending sitcom. And I'm willing to change any and all aspects of this concept in order to achieve it.'
