Armando Iannucci's comedy about the making of a superhero movie

Here’s a new trailer for The Franchise, the comedy series created by Armando Iannucci, director Sam Mendes, and Succession producer Jon Brown

The series follows the crew of an unloved franchise movie fighting to get their next superhero blockbuster made.

The show launches on HBO in the States this weekend, with the first three episodes will be available on Sky and Now on October 21. New episodes will then be released weekly. 

The series stars Himesh Patel as Daniel, Aya Cash as Anita, Jessica Hynes as Steph, Billy Magnussen as Adam and Lolly Adefope as Dag. Recurring guest stars include Richard E. Grant and Daniel Brühl.
