Joe Lycett sings: How would you feel if the arts just stopped?'

Opening number for the Sky Arts Awards

Joe Lycett sang a tribute to the arts as he highlighted cutbacks savaging the sector in a number to open the Sky Arts Awards.

Dressed in a yellow suit with banana shoulders, the comedian was joined by  Beverley Knight, Reuben Kaye, David Harewood, Justin Hawkins to ask:  'How would you feel if the arts just stopped?'

Fern Brady won the comedy award at the ceremony which took place at London's Roundhouse last night.

Lycett also unveiled a manifesto for the arts to mark his time hosting the event.
