For series 18 of Taskmaster

Jack Dee battles with Alex Horne and his ‘weird looping machine’ in the latest awkward interview to promote the new series of Taskmaster.

As well as big questions about travel insurance and whether you can be a fat swimmer, Dee was positive about his experiences on the show.

He said: ‘I’ve done my best at everything and put my heart and soul into everything… I don’t think I’ve baulked at everything. I did baulk at one thing…’ before being interrupted by the recording device.

He added that some tasks were ‘really difficult because I was being distracted the whole time’,  but added: ‘Others were very good because they were being creative and I didn’t feel that any were particularly unfair apart from the one where I quit because in that moment I snapped.’

Taskmaster returns to Channel 4 at 9pm tomorrow with Andy Zalzman, Babtunde Aleshe, Emma Sidi and Rosie Jones the other contestants.
