As Taskmaster returns

Here’s Andy Zaltzman being interviewed by Alex Horne ahead of his appearance on the new season of Taskmaster.

The News Quiz host and Test Match Special statistician takes part in the series in cricket whites.

The comic recored the interview after taking part in the challenges, when he said his approach was ‘ruthless’ and ‘merciless’ with everything ‘geared towards the ultimate goal of victory’.

Taskmaster returns to Channel 4 at 9pm on Thursday with Babátúndé Aléshé, Emma Sidi, Jack Dee and Rosie Jones the other contestants.
