Clips from his Basic Lee special, coming soon to Sky

Here's Stewart Lee mocking the sort of people who like – or say they like - his work, while deploying his trademark repetition.

The stand-up adopts a pretentious voice to parody those who think he's 'very clever' because they believe he's the sort of comedian they *should* watch.

The clip comes from his Basic Lee tour,  recorded as a special at the Lowry in Salford that  will air on Sky Comedy on July 20 at 9pm.

And in this second clip, Lee expands on the idea that watching his work is a 'necessary but unenjoyable experience'.
