John Robertson at Chortle's Fast Fringe

Promoting The Dark Room by yelling at the audience!

Here's John Robertson  yelling  himself hoarse at Chortle's  Fast Fringe ('an increasing procession of mentally ill people') as he mocked audience members of various generations – including his own.

The stand-up was performing in the guise of The Guardian, the domineering dungeon-master-type character in charge of his hit show The Dark Room.

The cult show, based on infuriatingly difficult text-based adventure games,  is back on the Edinburgh Fringe, where it plays at Gilded Balloon Teviot at 10pm nightly. There is also a kids' version at 5.30pm (not tomorrow)

Chortle is presenting Fast Fringe at Pleasance Dome at 7pm, featuring 12 top comedy and variety acts plus a top compere – and with a different line-up each day. Tickets here.
