New BBC comedy coming this month

Here's the official trailer for the new BBC comedy Henpocalypse!
 
The series revolves around bridezilla Zara whose hen do is interrupted by the apocalypse. She and her fellow hens face a struggle for survival while they wait out the breakdown of human civilisation in an isolated holiday cottage in Wales.
 
The ensemble cast includes Elizabeth Berrington, Lucie Shorthouse, Callie Cooke, Lauren O’Rourke, Kate O’Flynn and Ben McGregor.

Written by Caroline Moran, the six-part series starts on Tuesday August 15 at 10pm on BBC Two and will be available as a boxset on iPlayer.
