Appearing on on Tommy Tiernan's Irish chat show

Jimeoin told how he crashed into a horse while driving in Australia on Tommy Tiernan's Irish chat show last night.

The anecdote was triggered by the host mentioning how he had hit a kangaroo while driving down under, too.

Jimeoin – real name James Eoin Stephen Paul McKeown – said: 'I hired a four-wheel drive in Darwin and got the full insurance out.

'Just as I am leaving, the guy says to me, "you're only insured if you hit another car", and I go, 'What do you mean by that?

'He says, "For example you were to hit a horse...|" I had no idea there were wild horses, that they just roamed the country, and that they have a problem with the.

'Sure enough, I came over this hill coming back to get a flight and hit a horse. Frigging wasn’t insured.'

Tiernan then revealed his accident with the kangaroo cost him €6,000.
