Greg Davies to return as crime scene cleaner Wicky

The BBC has released the trailer for the second series of Greg Davies comedy The Cleaner.

In it, he plays crime scene cleaner Paul 'Wicky' Wickstead - who encounters a different larger-than-life character at each job –  as well as co-writing the show.

Guest stars lined up for season two include  Asim Chaudhry, Harriet Walter, Simon Callow, Roisin Conaty, Zoë Wanamaker, John MacMillan, Alex Lawther and Susannah Fielding.

Davies previously said: 'The cast for this season are brilliant and that there are so many distinguished actors amongst them leads me to believe that the BBC have secrets that they are using as leverage.'

The six-part series will launch on BBC One on Friday March 24 at 9:30pm, it has been announced.
