Meet the contestants in Kiss Villa – a new format not at all inspired by Love Island...

It's the first material to be released from Jamie Demetriou new hour-long sketch comedy special, which will be out on Netflix later this month.

The streamer has just announced that the show  – A Whole Lifetime with Jamie Demetriou – will be dropping on February 28, and released this skit on social media.

Demetriou  wrote the show and will star alongside   Ellie White, Sian Clifford, Jon Pointing, Kiell Smith-Bynoe, Sebastian Cardinal, Mark Silcox and  Katy Wix.

The special has been made  by BBC Studios Productions and Guilty Party Pictures, the production company run by Jonny Sweet and Simon Bird.

In a statement, they said: ‘It’s been a privilege to see Jamie assemble these disparate, disastrous, often relatively thick characters into one beautiful sweep of life as he sees it. It's as original, daring, and hilarious as we have come to expect from (to be fair) the comic voice of his generation.'

The hour-long show, will take the audience through each ‘embarrassing, heartening and ultimately futile’ state of life from birth to death.
