Ellie Taylor apologises for her Strictly dance

...but judges go easier on her

Ellie Taylor has come bottom of the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard in its Blackpool week.

The comedian was heard apologising to pro partner Johannes Radebe after they danced the American Smooth to Cilla Blacks' You're My World.  ‘Oh my god, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry,’ she told him.

However, the judges were kinder to her than she was on herself, with none mentioning any disasterss.

Head judge Shirley Ballas said Taylor was elegant but wanted to see ‘more heart’  and Anton Du Beke said she ‘looks stunning’ but needed to work on her neck placement.

Even the usuals bad guy Craig Revel-Horwood, who said the comedian's arm was ‘a bit Barbie doll,’ added that it was ‘elegant, that was for sure, and sophisticated’.

And Motsi Mabuse said the pair were creating ‘something special’ but needed to ramp up the intensity.

The couple scored a respectable 31 out of 40, but this late in the competition it left them eighth out of eight.

Fleur East and Vito Coppola lead the night with the first perfect 40 of the series for their dance to a Destiny's Child megamix .
