Pudsey's Celebrity Call Centre

Children In Need mockumentary

The BBC has released a mockumentary about the celebrities manning the Children in Need phone line.

The clip stars Am I Being Unreasonable’s Lenny Rush as the  call centre supervisor – and features a W1A-style voiceover from David Tennant

It stars some of Britain’s  ‘best-loved and most available’ celebrities including Mr Blobby, Natalie Cassidy, Rachel Riley, Lorraine Kelly, Ben Shephard, Rev Kate Bottley, Sir Mo Farah, Iain Stirling, Deborah Meaden, Peter Jones, Lord Sugar, Jonathan Bailey, Darren Harriott, Peter Andre, Richard Madeley

In the film, Rush says: ‘It is an absolute honour to be managing the Children in Need call centre. I was told this job would be seriously easy, if it wasn't for the fact everyone here is a celebrity."I mean, most of them haven't used a phone since 2005. They have people to do that for them.’

The telethon raised £35.27million on the night. Donate to Children In Need here.
