Armando Iannucci’s space comedy returns

Here’s the trailer for the second series of Armando Iannucci’s Avenue 5, which returns to screens next month.

Hugh Laurie returns as captain Captain Ryan Clark, helming a space cruiser  which now looks like it’s heading straight for the sun.

Josh Gadd is also back as the vessel’s wealthy owner, Rebecca Front as passenger Karen Kelly and  Daisy May Cooper as crew member Sarah.

Season 2 of Avenue 5 premieres on HBO on October 10 and will be shown on a Sky channel later,
