Plenty of gags in the Weekend Update segment

Colin Jost and Michael Che unleased a torrent of Will Smith jokes on Saturday Night Live last night.

At the very start of their Weekend Update section, Jost joked: ‘Intelligence officials are saying that Vladimir Putin is being misinformed by his advisors about how badly the Russian military is performing in Ukraine, which is kind of like Will Smith’s agent telling him, ‘You crushed it at the Oscars.'

Commenting about Smith slapping Chris Rock over a joke at his wife Jada Pinkett Smith's expense, Che added that as a comedian, he was fed up of people ‘putting their own insecurities’ on his jokes.

‘I mean, I can’t make a joke about it being cold outside without somebody yelling back, "Stop making fun of my small penis! Keep my small penis out your mouth!’’
