Here's a trailer for Johnny Vegas's new film The Drowning Of Arthur Braxton.

In it, James Tarpey plays an an awkward, heavily bullied schoolboy from a dysfunctional home, who discovers a beautiful water nymph hiding in an abandoned Edwardian bathhouse. And Vegas plays his father.

The film is based on a book by Caroline Smailes and  was funded by a Kickstarter campaign set up by YouTuber Luke Cutforth, who directed the film.

Toby Williams, also known by his comedy circuit alter-ego George Ryegold – also has a role in the film as a teacher.

The Drowning Of Arthur Braxton premieres on November 6 at the Soho Curzon in London, as part of the  Raindance Film Festival, and will then be available online as part of the festival's digital programme from November 7 to 9.
