Remarkable performance in test footage for possible biopic

Impressionist Jamie Costa channels the essence of Robin Williams in this remarkable scene.

The footage shows the comedian receiving the news from his Mork and Mindy co-star Pam Dawber (Sarah Murphree)  that his friend John Belushi had just died of a drug overdose.

The scene is a test footage for a possible biopic Williams, directed by Jake Lewis.

It has received overwhelming praise from fans, including a message from Thomas Tulak, who played a Lost Boy alongside Williams in Hook. He wrote on YouTube: This video gave me chills, and brought me to tears. For a moment it felt just like Robin himself was back. I now find myself wanting a Robin biopic more than anything, and I hope Jamie plays him… after seeing this I doubt anyone else could do a better job of playing Robin, and bringing the light and depth that the role would deserve.’
