First trailer of the US remake of Ghosts

Coming to CBS soon

CBS has released the first trailer for the American remake of Ghosts.

The series stars Rose McIver and Utkarsh Ambudkar as  Samantha and Jay, a couple who inherit a country estate only to find it haunted. The roles  were originally played by Charlotte Richie and Kiell Smith-Bynoe  in the BBC One original.

Most of the spirits are familiar from the BBC original, such as the caveman, the politician who died without his trousers on, and the scoutmaster with an arrow through his neck - but they have been joined by a Native American ghost, too.

Executive producers include the Horrible Histories team who devised the BBC original and play several of the ghosts: Mathew Baynton, Jim Howick, Simon Farnaby, Laurence Rickard, Ben Willbond and Martha Howe-Douglas.

The trailer says only that the show is 'coming soon.

Earlier this week the Fox network released its trailer for Welcome to Flatch, the US remake of This Country.
