Off The Air: Progress

Jordan Brooks, Sam Campbell, Demi Lardner and Tom Walker contribute to bizarre Adult Swim compilation

Comedians Jordan Brooks, Sam Campbell, Demi Lardner and Tom Walker are among those contributing to an anthology of absurd clips for Adult Swim.

They have contributed to a new episode of Off The Air, a bizarre series that compiles trippy animation, experimental musical and offbeat sketches.

The cult show airs in a graveyard slot on the overnight network, and this episode – entitled Progress – is due to air at 4.15am tonight/tomorrow morning in the States. However, it is also available on YouTube.

It has been made by London-based Blink Industries, who become only the third company to guest-curate an episode in the series’ ten-year history, and the first from the UK.

The company’s head of comedy, Charlie Perkins, said: ‘We're honoured to be guest-curators of Adult Swim's weird and wonderful Off The Air. The series is a consistently beautiful and surprising smorgasbord of mixed-media work, thematically mushed together into 11 minute episodes. It's been great to work with so many different and talented artists on it.’

Former MTV animator Dave Hughes, who has also worked on series such as  Beavis and Butt-head and Celebrity Deathmatch, created the format.
