Showtime series about the legendary LA venue

Here’s a trailer for the new documentary series about the American Comedy Store.

Airing on the Showtime network, the show looks at the 47-year history of the LA venue, run by Mitzi Shore, and how it produced generations of US stand-ups.

Former comic Mike Binder made the film and those taking part include David Letterman, Howie Mandel, Whoopi Goldberg - plus scores of vintage club

The series starts in the States on October 4, and also on Stan in Australia, but no UK broadcaster has yet bought the series.
