Greg Davies and Alex Horne go up in the world...

Channel 4 has released a trailer for their first series of  Taskmaster.

In it, Greg Davies, poke fun at the fact that the show was originally developed for Channel 4 before being picked up by Dave where it aired for ten successful series.

He and trusty sidekick - and show creator - Alex Horne are filmed in a plush stately home far removed from the tiny Taskmaster house used in the Dave series.

The contestants for the forthcoming run are Daisy May Cooper, Johnny Vegas, Katherine Parkinson, Mawaan Rizwan and Richard Herring.

Channel 4 will air the trailer for the first time tonight at 9pm, but no launch date has yet been confirmed for the series.
