Rugby league legend Paul Sculthorpe turns barber while keeping 2m away

Here's Johnny Vegas having his hair shaved for charity by rugby league legend Paul Sculthorpe – while obeying social distancing rules and staying at least 2m away at all times..

The former St Helens player used clippers at the end of a six-foot pole aft the comic asked for 'bit off round the back'.

But Vegas complained he had been left looking like something from Les Miserable, like 'he’d joined the Marines' or 'kicked out the circus'

The haircut was to raise money for the Steve Prescott Foundation whose volunteers are working out of local pub The Eccleston Arms to deliver food to St Helen’s frontline heroes, elderly and vulnerable.

The stunt was shown on The Steph Show, presented by Steph McGover, which airs daily at midday on Channel 4.
