Clip from Aziz Ansari's new speical Right Now

'It's fun to make white people feel bad'

Netflix has released the first footage from Aziz Ansari's new comedy special on the day it drops.

Right Now marks his return to the spotlight 18 months after the 36-year-old comedian got caught up in the #MeToo campaign.

In the clip released to YouTube, Ansari talks about 'interesting times for white people' as they are 'being nice to minorities' – a theme he warms to by asking white people in his audience what they thought of Crazy Rich Asians.

And when they're not entirely comfortable expressing an opinion, Ansari admits: 'It's just fun to make white people feel bad.'

Right Now was directed by Being John Malkovich's Spike Jonze and is available on Netflix now.
