Kermit and Pepe vs Miss Piggy and Beaker

The Muppets have taken part in a rap battle.

Kermit and Pepe the King Prawn faced off against Miss Piggy and Beaker on the US TV show Drop The Mic.

But the mild-mannered frog was not going to be drawn into the verbal brutality usually associated with such showdowns, rapping: 'I’m excited to be here, competing in rhyme, now let’s all play fair and have a great time. So to Beaker, hello and Miss Piggy, what’s up? If I had Pepe’s arms I’d give you four thumbs up.'

But Piggy was not, of course, so reticent – and Beaker's slams have to be heard to be believed.
