Netflix has released a teaser for its Comedians Of The World project.

On New Year's Day, the streaming giant is releasing 47 30-minute comedy specials from six continents and 13 'regions'.

The company is billing it as 'the most diverse comedy event the world has ever seen' and says that at least one female comedian was featured in each region.

Those featured in this clip include Nish Kumar, Joel Dommett, Mae Martin, and Ellie Taylor:
