Full short film ahead of its Channel 4 airing

Noel Fielding plays a dying angel in a new short film exclusively available to watch on Chortle.

The Mighty Boosh comic stars in Swansong, which will air as part of the Random Acts strand on Channel 4 tomorrow night.

Directed by Joseph Lynn, the film features Fielding as an elderly angel making his final journey out of his retirement home for one last balletic performance, choreographed by Imogen Knight.

It is one of the films Fresh Meat star Zawe Ashton will introduce in the episode of Random Acts which airs at five past midnight tomorrow night (that is, in the very early minutes of Wednesday morning). The strand is currently in its fifth series.

Another short due to air on August 7 features TV favourite Bernard Cribbins on a psychedelic trip with woodland creatures; while dam Buxton is to appear in another Random Act short in the yet-to-be-announced autumn season.
