New show from Simpsons and Futurama creator Matt Groening

Netflix has released the first full trailer for the new animation from Simpsons and Futurama creator Matt Groening.

The clip of Disenchantment starts with a royal wedding in which the groom, a Prince, imails himself on a Throne of Swords,

Princess Bean, voiced by Abbi Jacobson, then flees with her and her trusty companion Elfo (Nat Faxon) and her personal demon Luci (Eric André)

The cast features something of a Boosh reunion as Noel Fielding, Rich Fulcher and Matt Berry all have part.

British comedy actress Lucy Montgomery and Futurama stars John DiMaggio, Billy West, Maurice LaMarche and Tress MacNeille.

The trailer – set to a medieval rendition of David Bowie's Rebel Rebel – it includes a version of the lamest dad joke, apparently without irony. 'I'm drowning!' says one character in distress. 'I'm Elfo,' says Elfo.

Described as the offspring of The Simpsons and Game of Thrones, first ten episodes land on the Netflix on August 17.
