World Cup song from Gareth Cooper

Comedian Gareth Cooper has become the latest to jump on the World Cup song bandwagon – despite knowing very little about the sport.

The comic, a former member of the Delete the Banjax sketch team, has released Put That Ball just ahead of England's debut in the tournament.

'Put that ball in the place it needs to go,' goes the chorus. 'Put that ball where it needs to go.'

The video is directed by Matt Holt and features comedian Katie Pritchard as well as bundle of up-and-coming actors:
