Comic mocks ITV star's crash...in front of ITV staff

Stand-up Damian Clark mocked Ant McPartlin’s car crash on stage – right in their Newcastle heartland… an it front of an audience of several dozen ITV staff.

A group of 67 workers from the broadcaster went to The Stand in Newcastle this weekend to get away from their troubles caused by the drink-drive charges facing one of their biggest stars.

But the Australian comic kept on reminding of it, despite their protestations of ‘No!’, ‘We don’t want this’ and ‘It’s sad’.

Afterwards Clark quipped that his jokes ‘went down like a car crash’ – although the rest of the audience were clearly lapping it up:
