Trailer released

Comic Matt Okine's Australian TV series is to launch on August 17, it has been announced.

And streaming service Stan has today released a trailer for the show, The Other Guy.

In it, Okine plays AJ, a radio host who discovers that his long-term girlfriend of ten years has been cheating on him with his best friend.

The comic was a radio presenter on Triple J until quitting last year to concentrate on his comedy.

The Other Guy was written by Okine and fellow comic Becky Lucas, and co-stars Valene Kane, Harriet Dyer, Marg Downey and Christiaan van Vuuren.

Okine, a former Edinburgh Comedy Award best newcomer nominee, is heading to London once the show drops, with five dates at the Soho Theatre from August 22.
