Jim Jefferies secured a massive cameo for the launch of his Comedy Central show in the States – Brad Pitt.

The Hollywood star appeared on screen for less than 20 seconds as The Jim Jefferies Show weatherman to drive home a message about global warming.

Pitt predicted scorching temperature across the planet before adding cheerily: 'There is no future.'

The comic also had an unusual suggestion to cure racism in America: 'Bring back slavery.'

He quickly added: 'Wait, here me out...' before explaining his idea :
