Tom Ballard has laid into the Australian Border Force, branding them a 'proto-fascist paramilitary goon squad'.The comic addressed his homeland's 'paranoia' about the boat people in his set at the Opening Night Comedy Allstars Supershow of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
He used his TV slot to challenge the hatred of refugees who have 'run out of options' so board leaky boats in fear of their lives and urged: 'Sort it out, Australia.'
