Mark Watson – Original Review
Note: This review is from 2002
Actually from Bristol, this wiry comic assumes the mantle of a laid-back Welshman for his quirky, offbeat set.
Although his observations are sometimes based on the obvious, he has a skilful knack of exaggerating them until they become his own.
And by accentuating the stupidity of his targets - from Army recruitment adverts to Sod's Law - this rookie is fast forging a distinctive comedy voice with his naïve yet questioning persona.
