Surprise guest appearance in Am I Being Unreasonable (spoilers ahead...)

Viewers who devoured the full series of Am I Being Unreasonable when it dropped on iPlayer yesterday were rewarded with a nifty Easter egg in the final episode.

So don’t read on if you don’t want to know what it is, given the scene is yet to air on TV.

Early in the show, Daisy May Cooper’s character Nic pops into the village shop to load up on vodka… and while she’s at the counter, in come Kurtan and Kerry Mucklowe from This Country. 

Cooper’s brother Charlie already had a guest role in the series as the mulleted Dutch character Jürgen – but he also reprised the character that made him famous for the cameo. Meanwhile, Kerry is apparently played by a body double.

In the scene – that confirms both comedies are set in the same universe –  Kurtan is seen picking up a box of tissues, saying: ‘Oh yes, tissues! I literally just ran out of wank tissues.’

The pair then walk out of the shop with items stuffed under their shirts – until the shop staff sopt them and they run off run off.

Nic comments" ‘Kids, eh?’, to which one of shop workers, played by comedian Helen Bauer, says: ‘Sad thing is they're both in their late thirties.’
