Harry Hill's bizarre accident
As a former doctor, Harry Hill’s no doubt seen some bizarre injuries – and now he’s been involved in one, too.
The comic admitted that on his last tour ‘I broke a few ribs falling off an ironing board’.
Hill, who turns 60 tomorrow, has taken it a sign he may have to take things easier. ‘The live-show stunts are becoming more of a problem as I get older,’ he told The Times.
‘It takes longer to recover [from injuries such as the ironing board incident] these day.’
Otherwise, though, he declares himself ‘fit as a fiddle’ even though ‘I don’t do any fitness, I don’t believe in exercise’ other than walking his dogs.
Hill will be on tour next year with New Bits & Greatest Hits, which is described as ‘his Diamond Jubilee lap of honour’.
