Comic's pooping dog costs him dear

You know Russell Howard’s doing well – as he’s picking up dogshit with £20 notes.

The comic didn’t mean to, but found himself without a poo bag when he was out walking his Jack Russell Archie.

Speaking on his own Wonderbox podcast, he revealed: ‘All I had was a £20 note, I picked the dogshit up with the £20 but the guilt I felt for doing it was insane.’

The comic said he tried to do stand-up about it, ‘but it didn’t work’ – until he spoke to master joke craftsman Jimmy Carr about how to improve it.

‘He went, "just make it a fiver". Simple as that.’
