Sam Campbell's back at the Edinburgh Fringe
...with one of the most Sam Campbelly stunts you could imagine
He scooped the Edinburgh Comedy Award last year – so it’s only to be expected that Sam Campbell has opted for a bigger venue this year.
The cult Australian stand-up has booked one of the biggest venues at the Fringe – the 750-seater Pleasance Grand.
But just for one night.
And with a show that lasts for just ten minutes.
It means it will take longer to get the audience into the venue than the performance will last.
The newly-announced show, entitled Bulletproof Ten, is also priced accordingly - with tickets costing just £2. However the booking fee adds an extra £1.25 – a staggering 61 per cent.
Campbell’s official blurb on the Pleasance website says: ‘The show will only go for ten minutes BUT you will remember it for longer.’
The comic won attention at last year's Fringe by installing a giant poster on Cowgate showing a photograph himself with Chortle editor Steve Bennett at a drinks party – but with no other information or text to give it context.
Bulletproof Ten takes place from 6pm to 6.10pm on August 16.
