Maisie Adam ties the knot
...and plays at Old Trafford on the same weekend
Comic Maisie Adam got married this weekend – just before playing in the televised Soccer Aid match at Old Trafford.
The 29-year-old stand-up tied the know with partner Michael Dobinson on Saturday, before playing in the charity event on Sunday.
She posted a picture of herself with her groom enjoying a pint and posing for other photos on Brighton sea front in their wedding outfits on Saturday, prompting congratulations from their comedy friends.
Among them were Katherine Ryan, who posted: ‘Cuties in love forever’, while Suzi Ruffell said that it was ‘the best day!’
Adam couldn’t contain her excitement when interviewed after the match, when her World XI team – which also included Mo Gilligan defeated England.
