Coo! Katherine Ryan revealed as Masked Singer's Pigeon
Katherine Ryan was last night unveiled as the celebrity in the Pigeon costume on The Masked Singer.
The comedian was about eight months pregnant when filming the show last year.
She told host Joel Dommett: ‘I feel like I have a baby's foot in my lung at most times and it is actually harder than I thought. But you can't tell my daughter anything because she would spill it to the whole school so she'll be finding out along with everyone else.’
Guesses for Pigeon’s identity included Emily Atack, Gemma Collins and Stacey Solomon.
The comic also shared a clip of her 13-year-old daughter’s stunned reaction to finding out that she was behind the costume. Violet jumped to her feet and siad: ‘Obviously! I knew this the whole time I knew it wasn't Gemma.’
And she asked her mum: ‘Why would you lie? You said you weren't on it? I knew it.’
As her baby girl Fenna Grace, who was born on December 16, gurgles in the background, Ryan can be heard saying: ‘Aww Fenna can't believe it.’
In her interview after her exit, Ryan said: ‘I have loved becoming pigeon because I think she's cute. She's sassy. She is a nana, reminding us all that Nana's are tough. And some of them like hip hop.’

She said it was easy for her not to let on she was in the series because ‘I'm a poker face - thanks to Botox’.
‘A lot of the guesses were awesome. Janet Street Porter is someone I really liked. They kept guessing sort of East End, which makes me feel like I was doing my accent OK. It's the only accent I can really do.
‘The guesses from Jonathan [Ross] when he veered into politics and guessed Liz Truss, who you may or may not remember, Jacob Rees-Mogg – just villains of this country. I felt attacked by that. And that was probably the lowest moment in the show for me.
‘I feel very sad to leave the competition because for me, it's so much fun. To get on stage and sing and dance is not something I get to do very often. And I'm a huge fan of the show. So it's really exciting to be on a show that you already really love to watch at home.
‘However I’ve got to go have a baby in a minute so it's probably for the best that I take a few days off.
And asked what emoji would sum up her time on the Masked Singer, she said: ‘That one already looks like a pigeon but you have to type in "bird" to get it… And obviously aubergine because I think we all know the special kinetic energy that pigeon brought to a lot of the dads watching at home.’
Earlier in the ITV series fans believed Pigeon might have been Catherine Tate, known for her foul-mouthed Cockney Nan character.
Here she is performing Yeah by Usher from last week’s shoow.
