Tom Allen and Charlie Baker take a hit, just for laughs

Will Smith slapping Chris Rock on stage has quickly become a comedy meme.

At the big-name Ukraine benefit in London on Monday, pals Romesh Ranganathan and Charlie Baker staged a reconstruction, while Tom Allen and AJ Odudu did the same at the RTS Programme Awards last night.

The Strictly star pretended to strike Allen, who responded: ‘Oh my God, AJ, oh my God – I’m the one who’s lost their hair, don’t hit me. I never put my wife anywhere near your mouth.’

The Oscars altercation, of course, stated when Rock made reference to the alopecia suffered from Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith, prompting the King Richard star to lash out both physically and verbally, saying: ‘Keep my wife's name out of your fucking mouth.’

And at the Eventim Apollo on Monday, Baker joked about Ranganathan’s wife Leesa, prompting the Weakest Link star to ‘storm’ the stage and slap him across the face.

It’s the gift that just keeps giving…
