Notting Hill is Britain's favourite romcom

According to a Radio 2 poll

comedyNotting Hill has been voted the UK’s  favourite romantic comedy by Radio 2 listeners.

The 1999 film triumphed over Pretty Woman at No2 and When Harry Met Sally at Bo 3.

Its producer, Duncan Kenworthy, said the news was ‘heart-stoppingly thrilling,’ adding: ‘Radio 2 listeners, you have the best judgement and the biggest hearts on the planet, and I couldn’t be more delighted.’

Three Hugh Grant films feature in the Top five, while both Julia Roberts and Meg Ryan each have two films in the top six.
