Bill Bailey's double skydive
Bill Bailey has thrown himself out a plane twice in just over a week
The comic has done two tandem skydives, the first at 10,000ft – with 30 seconds of free-fall at up to 120mph – and the second at 15,000ft, the highest altitude allowed in the UK.
Bailey got a taste for skydiving after doing his first in Coolangatta, Queensland, in 2018 and says he was bitten by the bug
The comic told Dermot O’Leary’s on Radio 2 last week: 'It was brilliant actually, I loved it.
'I’ve got a bug for it. It’s a massive adrenaline rush as you can imagine, but I think the thing is when you start doing it, the first time you’ve jumped, it’s like nothing else on earth.
Just before you jump out your heart starts pumping and it's against all tour survival instincts. It’s great, it’s brilliant fun.'
After his first jump last week with GoSkydive of Salisbury, where he was was excited to see Stonehenge from the sky, Bailey said: 'As jumping out of airplanes go that was pretty good!
'It’s a fantastic spot, beautiful day for it, We got great visibility, we could see the whole countryside mapped out.’
