Marcel Lucont will pour scorn on any topic, for a donation

Comedians are having to do what they can to earn money while every gig remains cancelled.

And for haughty French flaneur Marcel Lucont that means being scornful for money.

The alter-ego go comedian Alexis Dubus has set up a page on Only Fans – a platform primarily used for selling X-rated content – offering to be disdainful about a topic of anyone's choice, in return for a donation.

Once he has shown 100 different forms of disdain he will declare the Coronavirus outbreak over.

Topics he's so far panned have included clocks, influencers, cats and ennui.
