Lights, switch... switch, lights
Tommy Cooper has switched on the Exeter Christmas lights – in puppet form.
A 20ft likeness of the befezzed comic did the honours at the weekend, operated by a local volunteer.
Welsh-born Cooper moved to the Devon city at the age of just three, where his parents ran several businesses in the city including an ice cream van. After school, Cooper became a shipwright in Southampton.
