Jack Whitehall appears in Frozen on Broadway
Jack Whitehall has long complained that the single line he had in the Frozen movie was cut from the final Disney release.
Well, now he has managed to realise his dream of performing the line – in the Broadway musical version.
It came courtesy of Jimmy Fallon, who got the British comic on to the New York stage for a segment on The Tonight Show last night.
In Frozen, Whitehall played Gothi, a troll priest who conducted a wedding ceremony between Krisoff and Anna, but the bride collapsed before the union was formalised.
Whitehall has often claimed in interviews and in his stand-up that he was cut from the film, telling Fallon: 'I have, ironically, been unable to let it go'
In fact, Gothi's two lines – 'do you Anna take Kristoff to be your trollfully wedded...' and 'You're getting married' are present in the finished film, as the second clip shows.
But that shouldn't spoil the myth, which culminated in Whitehall's briefest of Broadway appearances:
