Viewers think Hasan Minhaj owes a debt to Russell Howard

Fans of topical comedy say they are having a sense of deja vu with Netflix's new series Patriot Games with Hasan Minhaj.

For they believe the show contains more than a few similarities with Russell Howard's Sky show, which started last year.

Both certainly feature comedians taking on the week's news; both in front of a wall-sized screen, and both feature graphics with a blue colour scheme and solid blocks, as if text had been redacted.
