Newspaper's embarrassing name slip-up
Red faces all round at Metro, after they accidentally called Nish Kumar ‘Nish Patel’.
And on the first day of Diversity Month, too.
The free newspaper picked Joel & Nish Vs The World as one of its TV highlights last night, but mixed up his name when plugging the Comedy Central show
‘Fucking hell lads,’ was the comedian’s reaction on Twitter.

He later added: ‘Normally they at least just put the name of a different brown comedian. I’LL TAKE ROMESH KUMAR LADS.’
It prompted People Just Do Nothing’s Asim Chaudhry to recall the time the Evening Standard tweeted his name as ‘Asian Chaudhry’ after he won a Royal Television Society Award.
