Rob Beckett on Graham Norton's show

Rob Beckett once sold Graham Norton 'a bag of shit'… and now he's appearing on his BBC One chat show.

The All Together Now presenter recalled his humble past on the programme last night.

Beckett said: 'I actually sold you a bag of compost. Columbia Road flower market. I worked there from 14 and I remember seeing you and I sold you a bag. I actually carried it for you. You gave me a tip.

'Thank god!' Norton replied, mopping his brow. 'I think that's the only bag of compost I've ever bought… I even sort of remember it.'

Beckett described the job as 'selling bags of shit in the streets of East London. Brutal.'
