Natasha Lyonne comedy-drama back in May

Sky has announced that the acclaimed US comedy-drama Poker Face returns to air on May 9.

The 12-part series stars Natasha Lyonne as Charlie, who has an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying. She hits the road with her Plymouth Barracuda and with every stop encounters a new cast of characters and strange crimes to save.

The series will launch with  three episodes, then one a week.

Settings will range from ‘minor league baseball to big box retail, from funeral homes to alligator farms and even a grade school talent show’, creator  Rian Johnson has said.

Guest stars announced for series 2 include comedians John Mulaney, Awkwafina and  Kumail Nanjiani, The Office’s B.J. Novak,  Cheers legend Rhea Perlman, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’s Carol Kane, and  Wicked’s Cynthia Erivo.

The show will also be available on the Now streaming service.
